Rowing ACT has a new perpetual trophy – The Tarcoola Trophy which has been donated by the Letcher family. It is to be awarded to the winner of the ACT Champion U19 Men’s Single Scull.
The Letcher family have been significant contributors to ACT Rowing.
Luke has won multiple National Championships (including the National Under 19 single scull title) and is a current member of the Australian team.
Vicky is active in BMRC administration and has been on the Rowing ACT Board and can be seen on regatta days out on the water as a BRO and as a competitor.

The trophy is to be called the Tarcoola Trophy.
It is named after Tarcoola Reach.
This is the reach that runs from the AIS shed past Radford to BMRC.
This stretch of water is a favorite for the Letcher family.
