20001-02 PROGRAM OF EVENTS (Provisional)

Notes:

All Masters events will be conducted as handicapped starts for menâs, womenâs and mixed crews in accordance with the Handicapping Table approved by the Masters Commission.
Where more than six entries are received for an event, the event will be broken into Divisions. In such cases, and where sufficient entries are received, non-core events will be assigned their own race.
Events with less than 3 entries will be scratched from the final program for any given regatta.
Events with less than 3 finishers from at least 2 clubs will not be awarded competition points.
Code Elements:

1^st Letter Y - Year, N Novice, M Masters, I Intermediate, S Senior or School, O Open, E Elite

2^nd Letter 8,9,10 year, M Men, W Women, B Boys, G Girls

3^rd/4th Letter 1X Single, 2- Pair, 2X Double, 4+ Coxed Four, 4X+ Coxed Quad, 8+ Eight as approriate

Masters Handicaps

Notes:

Coxless boats competing in a coxed event attract an additional 5 sec handicap.
Elite Masters are defined as rowers who have been placed 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd in any of the last three Australian Masters Championships, or State Masters Championships, or the last FISA Masters Regatta.
Mixed crews are to have an equal number of men and women, excluding coxswain.
