ACT Rowers International rowers’ success

ACT rowers have been successful over the last several days with Angus Moore from Canberra University teaming with University of South Australia’s Nathan Bowden to win a bronze medal in the World University Games in Poznan, Poland.
Great racing against tough competition for Angus who is attempting to re-establish his International credentials.

In New Zealand Tyron Borman was part of a very successful Under 21 Australian team competing in the Trans-Tasman Rusty Robertson Trophy which Australia has won. Tyron was successful in being unbeaten in both the single and quad sculls against tough kiwi competition. A great result for Tyron and the Australian team which included ACT coach Renae Domaschenz.

In Rio ANU para athlete Kathryn Ross is part of a mixed double scull that is looking to row through the repecharge to compete for a medal on Sunday for a medal in the Rio Para Olympics.
