The Southport School is now seeking a Head Coach/First VIII Rowing Coach and preferably a qualified teacher to mentor and guide our rowing coaches, and to train the First VIII in our GPS Rowing program. TSS Rowing is highly competitive and seeks to appoint a candidate who will provide a professional national standard of training for our students, and coach development, whilst embracing the ethos and culture of the school.

 
The successful applicant will be required to commence in early Term 4 2015 in preparation for the GPS pre-season training and the in-season program which commences in Term one of 2016.

Custom silver paint with dark blue racing stripes. Carbon kevlar construction, with carbon shoulders, deck, seat and footplate. Minimum racing weight with quick release aluminium riggers. This is a top of the range Wintech boat designed for racing at National level.

Boat is in good over all condition. Has seen some small repair work at the bow in 2012. Stored at West Lakes SA since purchase and rowed very intermittently since then.

Rowing Australia is looking to employ a part-time Marketing and Communications Manager for the 2015 Sydney International Rowing Regatta. Reporting to the SIRR Project Manager the primary responsibility of the Marketing and Communications Manager will be to develop and implement a strategic Marketing and Communication plan to drive ticket sales for 2015 Sydney International Rowing Regatta.

The Marketing and Communication Manager will use their experience to build awareness of the Australian National Championship events and interest in the sport of Rowing in Australia. The role involves management of key stakeholder, partner and supplier relationships to maximize the positive outcomes for all parties. Classic Carmody timber wide-beamed sweep four ‘tub’ for sale.

Eye-catching Carmody built (~ late 1970s) wide-beam Sweep Four rowing boat (10 metres in length) with cox seat, outriggers/oarlocks, macon-type timber oars, and slide seats. The red ply hull with solid-timber framing is structurally sound (bar one timber gunwhale joint which has opened up slightly). The hull surface has a number of small (but easily repaired) scrapes/scratches in the clear resin topcoat. Located at BMRC
