The second NTC time trial of this season will be held this Friday morning from the
AIS boatshed to Kingston Foreshore starting at 07:00. Non-participants are asked to
keep clear of the course, particularly coach boats.

The 2009 Annual General Meeting of the ACT Rowing Association will be held at the
Canberra Girls’ Grammar School Aquatic Centre, Alexandrina Drive, Yarralumla
on Thursday 12 November 2009 at 6.30pm. The Agenda for the meeting is here.

The international adaptive rowing classification program has recently been revised,
and the impending changes that have been made will be effective January 1, 2010.
In partnership with the Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) and in
collaboration with FISA, Rowing Australia will be conducting a Classification
Workshop from Friday 13th November till Sunday 15th November 2009 at the Australian
Institute of Sport, Canberra.

The Disher Cup regatta was held yesterday in perfect conditions. The race results
are:
- Disher Cup: 1st ANU; 2nd ADFA; 3rd RMC
- LW Nicholl Shield: 1st RMC; 2nd ADFA; 3rd ANU
- Colonel Diane Harris Trophy: 1st ANU 1; 2nd ADFA; 3rd ANU 2; 4th RMC

Racing tomorrow in the Disher Cup Regatta will commence at 08:00 and in a change
back to the original finish, it will finish by the Boathouse Restaurant, Grevilla
Park, East Basin. The regatta is being hosted by Royal Military College,
Duntroon.

- 08:30 Women’s 4+
- 08:50 Men’s 8+
The 5km Men’s eight course will start in the channel between Spinnaker Island
and Blue Gum Point and thence by the most direct route to the finish at The
Boathouse Restaurant in East Basin. The 2km fours course starts from the pontoon
outside the National Library in Central Basin to the finish at the Boathouse
Restaurant. The Anne Curtis Cup for women’s Eights is not being contested this
year.
Canberra Grammar will be running a single scull time trial this Saturday on the
Yarramundi Reach course for selection of the senior shed. It will start at 06:15
and finish at 07:00. It will be held in lanes 5 and 6. Please avoid
interferring with the event – particularly coach boats.
The annual Disher Cup Regatta will be held this Saturday with all races finishing at
Yarralumla Bay. Information about the regatta can be found here.

Burley Griffin and it is available here.
The presentation of the prizes from the Winter Time Trials has been scheduled to be
made concurrently with the presentations at the end of the Col Panton Marathon on
Sunday, 25 October 2009.
