INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPETITORS
- Withdraws are to be emailed to actra@rowingact.org.au the night before each time trial.
- It is the responsibility of crews to ensure they are at the start on time (any crew who misses their allocated start time may be started at the end of the field). Crews should pay particular attention to the start time rather than boat number as some numbers may be missing.
- Clubs should ensure that scullers and crews have the skill and experience to complete the course under adverse weather conditions.
- Crews and scullers should take note of normal traffic rules on the way to the start.
- Slower crews should ensure that crews overtaking have space to pass on the most direct course.

Sarah is one of six athletes, and the only Australian, to be announced as a finalist for World Rowing’s Parmigiani Spirit Award. The award is for a university rower who has demonstrated the core values of rowing in his or her social, academic and sporting life and, through these values, also enabled or inspired exceptional success in other people’s lives – for example in education, business, sport or charity.
The finalists were selected from 25 nominees from 12 countries. Further details including a short biography of Sarah can be found at www.worldrowing.com
The winner will be determined by the end of September.

Builder:
• Jeff Sykes
Construction:
• Carbon Kevlar and honeycomb.
• Aluminium wing rigger
Mould: 25
Croker Blades included!
$4,000.00
Built for average weight of 95kg
This is a minimum weight boat, built for Daramalan College in 1998. It is in good condition (could do with a re-spray if you want the look of a new boat) and would suit a sculler above 80kg and would easily cope with 100kg. I have recently rowed the boat and was surprised at how comfortable it felt – still lively and responsive, despite its age (and mine!).
This boat currently belongs to Paul Rowe and I am selling it on his behalf.
It is currently stored in the Daramalan Boats Shed in Canberra and I can arrange for you to view the boat. I can also arrange for transport to Sydney, if necessary.
