Under 19 Rowing Queensland Development Regatta
As part of the 2008 Youth Cup Regatta Program, Rowing Queensland will run the U/19 RQ Development Regatta also at Lake Kawana from 6-7 September 2008. Entries will be through ROMS. ACT Athlete Sonia Mills makes her Olympic qualification
Sonia Mills from Canberra Rowing Club has qualified the W2x boat for the Olympics, sculling with Catriona Sens at the final qualification regatta in Poland yesterday. Two other Australian boats were also qualified for the Olympics and so allowing Australia to compete in all rowing events for the first time. Sonia joins fellow ACT athlete Sarah Cook who is competing in the W2- with Kim Crow at the Olympics.
