Regatta #2 Hosting Club Changed

The host for this weekend’s regatta will be Radford College, replacing at short notice Capital Lakes Rowing Club which could not host on the re-scheduled date. Canberra Rowing Club Corporate Regatta – Sunday 09:00 to Noon The Canberra RC will be holding its annual corporate regatta on this Sunday morning. It is being held on the final 500m of the Yarramundi Reach rowing course and it would be appreciated if other lake users could take care in the area.

If you need or want to change your entry, you can do this through your club. Find out from your club’s regatta secretary when changes need to be submitted. A new regatta draw will be published next week. Motor Boat Driver Licence – ACT Test Session Announced People […]

Lake Burley Griffin Closed by NCA

Due to a sewerage spill in Queanbeyan, Lake Burley Griffin has been closed for swimming and boating (other than the ferries) until further notice. The spill was on Thursday and the closure is because of bad test results, not just suspected dangers. Rowers who were out today on the lake should take care of any symptoms of illness and consider medical help. The water has a high bacteria count. You can read the NCA media release here.
