2013 Tuggeranong Festival Cup Draw

The final draw for the Tuggeranong Festival Cup is available.

All crews will race 3 races in the first 3 rounds. The Category finals will be decided based upon the points earned during the 3 rounds. For events with more than 4 entries the points allocation has been included within the draw.

The top point scorers from each category will then progress to the category final. The winners of each final will then progress to the handicapped Champion of Champions race to compete for the Tuggeranong Festival Cup.

Call for entries – Regatta #3

Entries for Rowing ACT Regatta #3 to be hosted by the Black Mountain Rowing Club on 7 December 2013, close 5pm Wednesday the 27th of November. Clubs that have not submited their entries by the deadline will not be able to participate.

Regatta #2 – Canberra Grammar School

The Regatta Reverse Traffic Flow procedure dated 16/11/2011 will be in place throughout the Canberra Grammar School Regatta. The presence of the Reverse Flow Gate indicates reverse flow is in place.

Weston Park Regatta Setup, Boating Arrangements

Weston Park will again act as the primary regatta hub. Regatta commentary will be broadcast in Weston Park as well as Lady Denman Drive. The First Aid facilities will be located in Weston Park.

Call for Entries Lake Tuggeranong Festival Cup

Entries are now open for the 2013 Lake Tuggeranong Festival Cup hosted by Lake Tuggeranong Rowing Club on 23 November 2013.

Entries close 5pm Monday the 18th of November. Entries are to be submitted by clubs online via Rowing Manager.

Lake Tuggeranong Festival Cup events include:

  • Open Men’s Coxless Quad Scull (M4x)
  • Open Women’s Coxless Quad Scull (W4x)
  • Open Mixed Coxless Quad Scull (Mixed4x)
  • School Boy Coxed Quad Scull (SB4x+)
  • School Girl Coxed Quad Scull (SG4x+)

Scrivener Dam Extended Exclusion Zone – KEEP OUT!

The National Capital Authority (NCA) have received reports that rowers have recently been sighted inside the extended exclusion zone above Scrivener Dam. I.e. between the second buoy line and the dam. The extended exclusion zone continues in place to ensure public safety. Despite the NCA’s confidence in the dam, evident following their decision to lift the lake level, the extended exclusion zone remains in force until the Scrivener Dam Anchor Bolt Project work is completed.
