Last Days to Purchase Season Presentation Celebration Tickets

You are invited to join us at the Rowing ACT Presentation Season Celebration on 20th October at the Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club, Yarralumla from 1pm.

We encourage all rowers and those involved in rowing to join us to celebrate achievements throughout the past year and catch up with friends, fellow clubs members, BROs and even your competition.

The afternoon will include the postponed Summer Season presentations, the Winter Time Trial Series presentations and the Singapore Airlines ticket draw.

2013 Winter Time Trial Final Overall Point Score

The final Winter Time Trial Point Score is now available. Presentations for the series and monthly winners will take place at the Rowing ACT Season Presentation Celebration on Sunday 20th October.

We would like to thank all who have assisted within administration and on water official roles particularly our anonymous handicapper and point scorer who has spent many late night filtering through previous results to ensure all competitors receive the appropriate handicaps. Without these invaluable contributions this years series would not have been the success it was.

2013 Col Panton Marathon Start List

The Col Panton Presentation planed for 10am on Sunday at CRC has now been cancelled. The Col Panton presentations will now take place at the Rowing ACT Season Presentation Celebration on Sunday 20th October. To view details and purchase tickets for the event click here .

All crews must arrive behind the start line no later than 6:45am. Late arrivals may be excluded

2014 World Masters Race Schedule Now Available!

The 2014 World Rowing Masters Regatta Race Schedule/Order of Events is now available.

The program has been changed for 2014 to start on Thursday 9 October at 9:00 am and create time on Saturday afternoon 11 October for catching up any delays in racing. Should the time on Saturday afternoon not be required to make up racing a fun, free-entry time trial event around beautiful Lake Wendouree will be held, with entries being taken during the regatta. ANU Rowers Win 7 Medals at Uni Championships

After qualifying for 15 of the 16 A finals at the Australian University Rowing Championships in Ballarat, ANU’s rowers went on to win 7 medals, equalling the highest number of medals that ANU has ever won at the Championships.

The athletes battled rough conditions and a tricky cross wind on the final day at Lake Wendouree to notch up their tally of 1 gold and 6 bronze medals.

The gold medal was in the mixed four (Dave Wright, Riley Owen, Jacqui Williams, Emily Caudle and Renae Domaschenz), and the bronze in the women’s pair (Sarah McFadden and Hilly Salmon-Krone), men’s […]

ANU Rowers Strike Gold in Ballarat

The ANU team achieved a win in the first finals of the Australian University Rowing Championships, raced today on the 1956 Olympic Games rowing course in Ballarat.

ANU’s mixed four of Jacqui Williams, Emily Caudle, Riley Owen, David Wright and cox Renae Domaschenz powered away from a high calibre Sydney University crew in the last 200m of the final to notch up ANU’s first ever win in this boat class in intervarsity competition.

2013 Call for Entries Col Panton Marathon

The 2013 Colin Panton Memorial Marathon will be held on 13th October beginning at 7am.

Entries will be accepted for all boat classes.

Entries are to be submitted by clubs to actra@rowingact.org.au no later than 5pm Monday 7th October. Entries will be charged at a rate of $8 per seat GST inclusive.
