Canberra Rower Sarah Bourke Announced as Finalist for FISA Award

The international rowing federation FISA has announced that ANU student Sarah Bourke has been shortlisted for an international award.

Sarah is one of six athletes, and the only Australian, to be announced as a finalist for World Rowing’s Parmigiani Spirit Award. The award is for a university rower who has demonstrated the core values of rowing in his or her social, academic and sporting life and, through these values, also enabled or inspired exceptional success in other people’s lives – for example in education, business, sport or charity.

The finalists were selected from 25 nominees from 12 countries. Further details including a short biography of Sarah can be found at www.worldrowing.com

The winner will be determined by the end of September.

Well done Sarah!.
