The ACT Rowing Association is the peak rowing body for the Australian Capital Territory and South East New South Wales.

The Association’s primary functions are to foster the sport in the region, and to control regattas within the region. All rowing clubs in the region that wish to take part in races within Australia must be affiliated with the Association.

A “committee”:/about/6/board-of-directors runs the Association and is elected annually. The Committee meets monthly.

ACTRA(Australian Capital Territory Rowing Association) is an incorporated association under its own “constitution”:http://www.rowingact.org.au/resources/ACTRA%20Constitution200911.pdf and “by-laws”:http://www.rowingact.org.au/resources/ACTRA%20Bylaws.pdf.

Rowing ACT has finalised selections and would like to announce appointments of the following positions:

Head Coach Women: Dafydd Gwynn-Jones
Head Coach Men: Chris Polyichanin
Team Managers: Kate Beasley, Katie Duncan

Congratulations to you all on your appointments.

The Rowing ACT Committee has finalised and released the new Strategic Plan. “Read the Strategic Plan”:resources/RACT%20Strategic%20Plan%202010-2014.pdf

ACT Parks will be felling willow trees near Lady Denman Drive into the lake. Debris will be removed daily, but a safety line of buoys will be installed to keep rowers clear of the works. Please keep a look out for the buoys and ensure that crews stay to the south of the line. Although debris from the felling will be removed, it would be wise to keep an eye out as you row in the area.
