Pathways & Youth Eights Nominations Open

Nominations for the Pathways Eights Program are now open. We are also re-opening nominations for the Youth Eights in the lead up to the first training camps happening at the start of December.

Pathways rowers must currently be attending Year 9, 10 or 11 at a Canberra School, while any rower under the age of 21 is able to nominate for the Youth program. Rowers may nominate for one or both of the programs.

After breaking the World Record and winning the Women’s PR2 Single Scull at this years World Championships, Kat now has the possibility of being named Para Rower of the Year. Talent Identification Day Information

Rowing ACT is holding Talent Identification Testing this weekend. While aimed at non-rowers, anyone aged 13-19 is invited to complete the testing. More information is below, or can be found on the Talent Identification page.

Date & Time:

10am-12pm, Sunday 28th July

The testing will take up the majority of the 2 hour session,
so please arrive promptly at 10 am.  You will then be allocated a group to
complete the various activities.

2019 FISA International Para Regatta Results

Our para rowers have had a very successful regatta in Gavirate, with Australian rowers bringing home four gold, four silver and one bronze medal, making Australia the overall winners of the pointscore!

Paralympian & ANUBC member, Kathryn Ross made a return to the international stage, winning two gold medals in the PR2 Women’s Single Scull. She was coached by Renae Domaschenz, also from ANUBC.

RACT End of Season Forum

The RACT End of Season Forum will be held on 8 May 2019. Members of the Rowing community are invited to the forum to ask questions and discuss the past season.

Location: YMCA, Alexandrina Drive

Time: 6-8pm

Rowing ACT 2018/19 Season Presentation Event

Come along to the end of season presentation event to celebrate the achievements of clubs and individuals over the season. Everyone is invited to attend, with free food & drinks included!

Location: The Marquee at the Yacht Club, 1 Mariner Place Yarralumla

Date: 12 May 2019

Time: Food will start at 11:30am, presentations to start at 12pm
