ACT Rowers on first day of World Junior Championships

The first heats have been rowed and our ACT rowers have done well. ACT Rowers Count Down to World Junior Rowing Championships – Media Release

A media release on the exciting events in China next week can be found here. Rowing Queensland jobs advertised Rowing Queensland is currently looking to fill the following full time positions:

  • High Performance Manager
  • Development Manager

World Cup #2 – ACT Athletes Perform Well

The second World Cup Regatta, on the Bosbaan at Amsterdam, was run last weekend. Crews with ACT athletes did well with Sonia Mills coming second in the W4- (another Australian crew won), and Sarah Cook coming third in the W2- (she won the first World Cup W2- a few weeks ago). ACTAS 5km Time Trial TOMORROW and Friday mornings

ACTAS will be holding a Time Trial tomorrow morning (Wednesday 20th) and Friday morning (22nd) beginning at 7am. Boats will be traveling from Black Mountain Peninsula to Kingston Boat Harbour. Please be cautious when rowing in the area as crews trialing will be traveling on the wrong side between Black Mountain Peninsula and Commonwealth Ave Bridge between 7am and 7.10am.
